I was involved in the development for a short time over 6 or 7 years ago when Pink was still attached and Penelope Spheeris was attached to direct. Even then the project was already in development for MANY years and some serious contract problems surfaced. Also back then Janis’ sister wasn’t too happy about everything and made some problems.
Bottom line, I seriously doubt it.
I’ve seen test shootings with Pink and she WAS Janis! Really good. A real shame. The script was really good and Spheeris would have been a great director for it too."
