This purpose of this thread is to help us get "Up Close & Personal" with the ladies about to compete in London.

Thread Guidelines: (see post two to get a general idea/template)

1. One post per lady containing as many HQs as you care to put in a singe post.
2. In the Title, please use this format: Name / Country Represented / Event(s). (swimming is fine, you don't have to specify all events).
3. Please provide a brief thumbnail bio in the post.

I'd love it if Phunners could introduce us to Olympians from their countries that maybe everyone does not know. If the ladies are beautiful, even better.

I'll try and run a tight ship - so don't be surprised if you post crap & it gets deleted.

She finished fifth at the 2006 World Junior Championships, won the bronze medal at the 2007 European U23 Championships,
and competed at the 2007 World Championships without reaching the final.
Jungmark won the NCAA Indoor Championship for Washington State University in march 2008 (1.89m).
Her personal best jump is 1.96 metres, achieved at the 2011 European Athletics Indoor Championships in Paris, France.
Jungmark won the silver medal at the 2012 IAAF World Indoor Championships in Istanbul.

Johanna Almgren (born March 22, 1984) is a Swedish female footballer.
She plays at midfield for Göteborg FC and the Swedish national team.

During the 2008 Summer Olympics, Brazilian footballer Ronaldinho surprised Almgren by asking her to marry him, just a few hours after seeing her for the first time.
She rejected the proposal outright. Almgren thought that her friend was joking with her when she got a phone call from a translator saying Ronaldinho
wanted her to go to his room.
After realizing it wasn't a joke she and a few friends went up.
Then he asked her to marry him; "I said NO because I have a boyfriend (Adam) who is waiting for me at home" - she told to newspapers -
"I gave Ronaldinho a Sweden soccer T-Shirt but I wasn't brave enough to ask him for a Brazilian one too".
