A new imagehost, http://www.imgphun.com, has just been created!

It is completely untried and untested, but we invite you to participate in a limited trial of it on phun.org - using it for posts in The Lounge and Celebrity Extra forums only, for the duration of the trial. You may also, at your own discretion, use it at any other sites you visit. We would in either case like you to record in this thread your experience - success and difficulties - when using it.

You may be able to obtain a "rapid response" to any issues by PM'ing Hencock, but please record any such instances in here too!

The site has several useful uploading options and offers a number of thumbnail sizes up to 300x300.

There is also a "cover" pic option with a thumbnail in the 500 pixel range that makes a good alternative to hotlinking.

Firstly i am thankful to all of them who take interest and provided a trail period to ImgPhun. Hopefully this trail would be enough successful and then ImgPhun will be seen as a permanent Imagehost .I request all of my present Phunner's to check feasibility and inform about their valuable opinions.

And here is some main features for users/Phunner's
FILE SIZE

Jpeg,Png,Jpg File Size Is 3Mb

For Gif images File Size Is 8Mb

For Zip File Size Is 2Mb

User can upload 30 images for "Ajax"
User can upload 10 images for "Multi"
and other upload function are limited to single upload.

Galleries help to organise better your images. You can add, remove or rename any gallery.

Gallery slideshow (you can choose your gallery to be public or private. If it’s public, you can view a slideshow with all your pictures from specific gallery)

Fully user panel

See all images uploaded

Quick select images to: see all bb/html codes, move to another gallery, mark as clean/adult, delete

Search your photos by ID and moderate (move to other gallery, delete, mark as clean/adult)

Lock account (this is a security feature. When LOCK is active, you can’t make any modifications to your account. To unlock you have to hit button unlock and enter the security
code that you will receive in your email)

Support Ticket system inbuilt (Fully functional ticket support)

Private messages (send private messages to specific users)

User password recovery

Upload options:

Adult/Non-Adult Upload

Thumbnail Size ( dynamic thumbnail sizes)

Add download links to image

Folder structured uploads (all images will go in folders by year/month/day. This way the script will support a very very large number of images without any performance issues)

Choose in which gallery you want to upload

Simple and user friendly interface so well done there. What you could consider is to point out somewhere on the frontpage what format you allow. Is it only Jpeg and png or do you also allow simple gifs under a certain size.

nice suggestion its done now .adding this feature in upload options could make some disturbance in script so i put this thing at FrontPage under the logo of site. "Upload Jpg Jpge Png & Gif"

more suggestion will appreciated

Just did and works perfect.

Imgphun works good as host for sig.

Why is there no thumbnail size uniformity when using the "ajax" upload option?
