  3. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    The first one you noted is a significantly larger resolution which is allowed by the guidelines.
    The last one was a different resolution which I like to leave to give the downloader options, but since it is against the letter of the rules and you requested it, it is gone. Besides, that poster keeps posting things in the wrong spot and trumping file hosts making me move/delete posts everyday. *grumble*

    Posters are allowed to post the same scene in multiple resolutions in their original post, without it counting extra against your daily post limit. This gives the downloader options, and lets the original poster avoid having others post the same scene in different sizes.

    I missed this latest "incident" and I wish I could give you an authoritative statement, Magge.
    But whether we're the victim of repetitive DDOS attacks or if it's an "inside job" is difficult to ascertain, especially when the adjudicators are the "insiders"!!!
    Cayne tells us that ISPrime are still apparently applying "tweaks" preparatory to putting phun.org on new servers, but who knows whether these "tweaks" are what we're experiencing?
    I know it's no consolation, but Moderating this crap is no joke!
