INSTA Lupita Nyong'o - Black Panther behind the scenes (2.27.18)

Gonna see it Friday. Looks masterful.

 

It's fun. Right up there for Marvel films. Still think Winter Soldier is their #1.

 

BP is the best movie of all time.

I loved it, and I loved her. Great story, heroes and villains.
Coogler and company kicked Feb box office ass. Opening weekend, they were pulling in Star Wars money.
This was the first Marvel movie that I actually saw - in theater - since Thor 2 (a big disappointment). After that I just waited for the streams.
I arrived 45 minutes early and still had to stand in line during a steady, but thankfully, light rain. The line - made up of all kinds of people - was still forming when I finally got in.
Wakanda, forever! Oh, that it were.

 

still like DC movies more

 

I thought it was a very good, but not amazing, film - a bit too straightforward and predictable plot-wise, and several of the relationships seemed underdeveloped, but generally well-acted, well-written, and very enjoyable.

Meanwhile, more importantly, Lupita is stunning.

 

Good movie. But best of all time? Probably not even on a top 100 list. Not disparaging the movie at all, but be realistic.

 

Imo it is. Most of the other are whitewashed trash with generic male leads. Shuri>>>most other protagonists
Killmonger>>>>>most antagonists.

 

You must be young....like a lot....
It was your generic evil guy that turns out to be relative and kills the good guy with the plot twist that good guy survives and good guys win at the end...nothing special really, even special effects were not that great (not even showing blood when Killmonger slices the throat of a guard towards the end) not to mention that it doesn't go even 5 minutes until someone says ''Wakanda'' in that movie....it was just ok to watch.
Also...Shuri was annoyingly kiddish and Killmonger was pretty off from his role as a black ops soldier...

Or was it such a big deal for you to be an all black cast movie?

 

Or maybe I just have a different opinion than you? Shuri was awesome and stole every scene she was in, Mbj was awesome. It wasn't an all black cast but it had a large collection of great actors in 1 film. It had 10 great actors that are leads who came together in 1 film. You sound like those ppl who thinks Winter Soldier is better.

 

The acting was good but the story was nothing special like Kakos is saying, the only unique thing was the black cast

 

Thought it was good, one of the better Marvel movies but I preferred Guardians 2, Spiderman and Ragnarok to it out of their recent output. It could've been funnier at times and the first half an hour was pretty slow.

 

Anyway.... Lupita is fucking cute.
