She's free to do what she wants but I can tell we wouldn't get along. I'm sure that will keep her up at night.

It’s shit like this that makes me wonder “why even expense the energy to type it out?” It’s so much easier for you to keep this to yourself.

They seem pretty normal to me. I know my wife had a lot of these insecurities after our kids. I suspect they are pretty universal.

You just described every comment on a celebrity picture forum that doesn't include a picture. Why? Why not?

I have an Aunt near my age who I am close to, who told me that her Doctor actually told her to drink wine (not a lot) while she was breastfeeding to try and help her son (my cousin) sleep. Not saying that's what's going on here, just know that it's not completely out of the ordinary.

Kinda strange, but yea- doctors prescribe it. The alcohol doesn't make it into the milk, but it does help mom chillax a bit.

It might be norm thoughts. It's just not something you share with the world. I mean this poor kid will inevitably say read this and think he was a burden to his mom or something.
We all get depressed and need to speak out or need help but have to remember were not the only people In the world what we do has consequences for others.

This is not an attack on you, but this is why we have such a huge problem with mental health now. This idea that we shouldn't talk about it. That we should hide it or keeping to our selves. This is why it's stigmatized and not well treated.

I didnt say not talk about it at all. Or I never intended to come across the way. I meant you dont tell the world. Dont post on Facebook,Twitter,IG or Reddit.
Tell your family tell your friends tell your therapist but dont stand on a soap box shouting to the world.

She could work through this without telling strangers across the world. Also think honestly. What if your mom or dad posted this when you were born in the newspaper or declared it on national television. How would you feel as a kid or adult knowing this.

Rflmao yeah... The kid like we ALL do is going to go through ALL of the pictures from let's say a decade earlier at best his mom has posted to social media and then scroll back those ten years and THEN think "I'm such a burden to my mom"?? Sounds more like "this makes me squeamish as hell, so I'm going to hide behind the child's mental health" to me.

Dude do you internet. Nothing is deleted. This kid will find his moms nude scenes if he googles her. You think some classmate or friend or random person isn't gonna find this and point it out.

Honestly idgaf but I just think this isn't something you broadcast to strangers across the world.

But it should be ok to tell everyone. That's my point. If we didn't clamp down on it like it was dirty, or shameful more people who need help might be able to get it. She seems very open to discussion and expressing her emotions in a thoughtful way. She will probably talk to her kids about it herself. I think you are creating a bit of a straw man argument when you bring the idea of her children finding out about it into this.

You've got to try pretty hard to go back ten years just to see yourself breastfeeding from a decade beforehand, and if so? Maybe he IS the problem
