You said her politics are fucked up. Fighting for the passage of the ERA (it's an absolute disgrace the needed 38 states haven't ratified it yet) is her latest political agenda. One of the things, at any rate. So, that's why I asked.

 

This just reminds me the CW is rebooting Charmed and it looks horrible.

 

As I seem to recall merlin is a rwnj that seems to think everyone shares his views is fucked up, which is in and of itself fucked up, always bitching about "Hollywood liberals" and whatever else comes from his right leaning drawstring in that model blah blah blah

 

Ironic that he finds her unattractive because "SHE thought HER opinion mattered more than anyone elses" ain't it?

 

I honestly dont kn ow how CW could mess up Charmed, but they seem to have done it.
The trailer is just not Charmed. I mean it doesnt even pay tribute to the original series. I can forgive the lack of eye candy if theres a good enough story though.
I hope I'm completely wrong. I enjoyed the old Charmed and I know it's pretty cheesy, but it was a good show. So I wouldn't be upset eating my own words.

 

Also, she could be a total philosophical wingnut and that wouldn't distract me from enjoying her nudes. As if!

I don't disagree w/that, not even a little. As a father of 4 daughters- I completely support the equality of women. My issue is her running commentary on Twitter about how, "she lives in a gated community to keep the 'unwanted' out", but "Conservatives are idiots" because they want to extend the same thinking to the county's borders. And, Her security guards can "carry concealed weapons, but no one else in America should." She went on to say, "most regular Americans have no idea what feeling unsafe actually feels like." A personal favorite is when she said, "Black Lives Matters is a police thing- it's not meant to be a part of the black-on-black violence discussion." When she was told that police-on-black violence equates to .1% compared to the 87% rate for black-on-black violence, she responds "I know, the cops are out of control."

 

I never said she was unattractive, I said I cannot enjoy them and no, that's not irony. Irony occurs when the opposite of what you plan or say happens. And yes, I have an issue with anyone who insists that their opinion matters MORE than anyone else's; particularly celebrities whose sole contribution is makebelieving they are someone else! THAT, my friend, is hypocrisy- not irony.

 

You recall incorrectly. I have voted democrat as often as republican, libertarian once and independent thrice. And once again, you missed the point: I think most "Hollyweirdos" are fucked up, not just liberals. James woods, Ted Nuget, Mel Gibson and the like are as annoying as Jane Fonda, Alyssa Milano and Whoopi Goldberg. All of them, conservative and liberal are ACTORS, living in a bubble of security and adulation- their opinion matters exactly as much as ours, no more, no less.

 

3 of my daughters grew up watching the original... I watched it with them and wound up kinda enjoying it. You're right- it really looks like the CW screwed up a "sure thing."

And being an actor is a job, nothing more. You not being capable to accept someone else´s opinion based on their occupation, while preaching freedom of mind and ideas looks to me more like.... whats the word again....something close to irony....

Hope your 4 kids will never be treated "unworthy" of their own opinions based on their jobs.

 

Again- someone else who comments on what they think I'm saying- but doesn't bother to accept WHAT I AM ACTUALLY SAYING. Why do you guys struggle with taking someone at their word? I do accept their opinion.. I believe they mean exactly what they are saying- that's why I call them hypocrites. They say one thing and do another, or, they do one thing and say another. That's what a hypocrite is. And the reason, for the last time for all the short bus riders who can't comprehend the written word, being a "celebrity" does not make your opinion MORE valuable than regular people.

That has been, since the beginning, my point: Being a "celeb" does not make your opinion more valuable. Just because they "act like someone else" does not make them "someone else." And finally, they chose to be a celebrity and they choose to live in a protective bubble where nothing for them is like it is for the rest of us- so stop acting like you know what's best for us. It falls under, "what's good for the goose is good for the gander

 

There is no need to insult anybody.

And nobody said her opinion is more valuable.
She never said that for sure.
I never said that.

You on the other hand make it look like that, to support your opinion about her - and probably about a lot of other people you disagree with.

And not being able to accept/like someone, just because he or she has another opinion about something, should never be something to be proud of.

Also you lose the ability to enjoy a lot of sexy women - because they tend to have ideas and opinions 24/7.
