    no i took in a canon sd500 point and shoot camera from a friend who sat and broke the lcd screen. It still takes pictures through the view finder but he was going to throw it away. I looked online and found out that canon sells the replacement screen for it and there are instructions online with picture diagrams to show you how to fix it. So for 40 bucks or so i can salvage a nice camera. It still sells for 150 bucks or so used. So i don't mind spending 40 bucks saving it. :lol:

    exactly, i figure even if the replacement lcd does not work (which it should because i can see the backlit light still working on it) for 40 bucks if anything i can still use it by taking pics through the viewfinder. It is good for carrying where you don't care if it gets lost or stolen. So the bars and shit like that would be cool.

    most point and shoots are dirt cheap now anyways. If anything i would be more pissed at losing the pictures i had already taken than the camera itself. Especially if it is a picture of an event that can't be duplicated.
