9/11 was a real thing that had a ton of conspiracy theories about it that were all false. Sharapova allegedly being gay and being helped along in her career - especially after it became lacklustre for most of her 20s - isn't too far-fetched at all, if you pay attention to the sport or the people in it.

It is hilarious how someone can be so defensive and dismissive when they see/read/hear something they don't want to hear, though...

 

Those 9/11 conspiracy theories are not false because they're idiotic; they're false because there was never any evidence that backed them up. Same is true of Sharapova, as far as I could find. It's just something some random person made up and has been repeated by people who think it sounds plausible but who know nothing about it - just like "truth"ers.

I'm not laughing at it because it's outlandish, I'm laughing at it because it's funny that someone would just conjure that from thin air for no apparent reason. In that sense it's no different to "thermite", or whatever they're selling in that little cult nowadays.

 

I love watching people with the urge to reply who are also wrestling with the desire to be seen as taking the high road. The dissonance is wonderful as it pours onto the screen.

 

We're on the verge of going from a celeb leak to 9/11 conspiracy discussion.
