    Coming to california depends on where you want to go. it is 800 miles from top to bottom but all the good places to go see and do is in the bottom falf starting from the bay area to socal. What are you into?

    Yeah i am not to thrilled about it either. :-?

    nice beach look up Carmel and Monterrey. They are the two cream of the crop beaches in California. With lottsa touristy things to do. Santa Cruz is not far away either and that to is a decent beach. Once in Santa Cruz you are about an hour's drive south of San Francisco with lots of shopping and sites to see and places to eat.

    In socal which i am not very familiar with you have beaches there but they are kinda dirty. But for tourist things to do you can't beat what is available down in socal if the night life is what you are after.

    Thanks Azz, Definately gonna go San Fran, Do I go to LA or Vegas? Having 4 days San Fran somewhere. 4 days LA or Vegas then going to Hawaii for last 10 days of Holiday. Gonna be my first time on the West Coast of USA.

    I'd skip Hawaii cause it is sucha tourist trap. Everything is expensive and it isn't that great to be honest.

    If you have never been to Vegas i'd definitely go to Vegas instead of LA. There is just so much to do in and slightly outside of Vegas. Outside within a 30 minute drive to an hour drive you have Prim Valley which is a great shopping spot. You have Hoover Dam and Lake Meade which is the largest man made lake. You have the strip to go to in Vegas and for great deals go where the locals go and that is the all you can eat sushi restaurant buffet for only 6 bucks. :lol:

    But yeah definitely Vegas if you have never been there. I'd rather go to the Caribbeans instead of Hawaii.
