how much alcohol would you need to have to get 0.12?

actually, how does one go about working out the numbers?

 

I'm not sure, but I dare say if you had about 7-8 beers in a night you'd be close to 0.12. Spirits, not sure, also would depend on how much you've eaten and fatigue levels? A few months ago I had a 5.30am wakeup, worked 12 hours then went to the pub and was hammered after 3 pints. Normally it takes 6-7 for me to get like that, so other factors can weigh in.

BAL depends on: 1. Amount of blood (which will increase with weight) and 2. The amount of alcohol you consume over time (the faster you drink, the higher your BAL, as the liver can only handle about a drink per hour--the rest builds up in your blood stream).
Below are the effects of increasing BAL.

.02 MELLOW FEELING. SLIGHT BODY WARMTH. LESS INHIBITED.

.05 NOTICEABLE RELAXATION. LESS ALERT. LESS SELF-FOCUSED. COORDINATION IMPAIRMENT BEGINS.

.08 DRUNK DRIVING LIMIT. DEFINITE IMPAIRMENT IN COORDINATION AND JUDGMENT.

.10 NOISY. POSSIBLE EMBARRASSING BEHAVIOR. MOOD SWINGS. REDUCTION IN REACTION TIME.

.15 IMPAIRED BALANCE AND MOVEMENT. CLEARLY DRUNK.

.30 MANY LOSE CONSCIOUSNESS

.40 MOST LOSE CONSCIOUSNESS; SOME DIE.

.50 BREATHING STOPS. MANY DIE.

ok as much as i don't give a shit about her or what she does (incl. the fact i don't find her one bit attractive), i do have personal experience with the whole drinking and cocaine thing.

normally it would start like this - 2, 3, 4 beers then some blow... then some more blow... then 5, 6, and 7 beer gets into you... more blow... more... by that time, you are so fucking high that the "drunk" you had - is completely gone. now you can drink till you're blue in the face... i used to go through 24 beers and i'm only 135lbs. while on 1 or 2g of the junk.

so getting to a .12 alc level is not a problem in the slightest because you never get drunk. you just keep putting them down, they get into your blood stream obv, but you can keep on keepin on as long as you have the other junk around. believe it. happened to me MANY times.

oh and you can drive like you've not had one ounce of alc. in you whatsoever.

 

I know exactly what you mean. A friend and I would literally go to the bar at noon, drink a few, blast a few lines and then drink some more. By the time we closed the bar we were probably 15-20 beers deep and zooted out of our heads. Of course we didn't feel the least bit drunk but I guarantee if we took a breathalyzer our BAL would have been to the moon.

 

exactly man... and i've driven on the sauce numerous times too, and on a good 15+ beers at the same time. so for Lindsay that's exactly what was happening with her too, no question about it. for someone to have enough focus to "chase someone down" at .12 alc level she'd never be able to do it.

but with the sauce mixed in? no problem.

 

Some chicks never learn........such a shame heh heh......Who knows folk.....she just might learn some new tricks in jail....maybe take lessons from Paris...LMAO
