Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I've tried everything mentioned on the tech issues thread and basically I'm still at square one, where only disabling ad block entirely allows me to do anything on here via my computer. Yeah, I know that's not really helpful, but I thought I'd give my experience for informations sake.

    Well, right now users are completely disabling their adblock for phun in order to get any functionality. Nothing visible is occurring as a result and this way people can leave their adblock enabled. Not ideal, for sure, but a workaround for those who are already willing to take the risk by disabling their adblock altogether.

    The Filter actually disables adblock for those particular scripts. For some reason, EasyList was blocking those scripts by default. This adds an exception in adblock to let those scripts through and restore functionality.
