    We don't have a pro team here in Alabama so most folks here are much bigger college fans than pro. Not to mention we have 2 teams in this state that are rich in tradition (other being Auburn) and are great rivals.

    I do very much enjoy watching pro but not near as much as college. Yes, they are a different group of players but their hearts are still in the game for the game so they play with much more emotion than the pro players do.

    You know college ball do draw a more passionate crowd than pro football do. Just the other day some guy wearing a texas longhorn shirt got his balls ripped off because he wore that t-shirt to a bar with Virginia patrons in it.

    But to me i like to follow players and see them develop rather than just watch them for 1 or 2 seasons in a college system.

    Yeah your right, he usually doesn't stick around too long, His heart is in college ball not pro just like Spurrier so who knows. All I can tell you for sure is the difference he has made in the team playing together and having pride in themselves is unbelieveable. Even if he only stays here for 4 or 5 years I'm hopeing that he gets our tradition back to way it ways in the glory days of "The Bear".
