oh and how many people can get on your family/friend's ranch sancho? we don't want to overcrowd or overstay our welcome.

 

Lets plan next year, sometime either last September or early October. I've got a buddy who has a huge ranch in SW North Dakota and he guides people to hunt pheasants. He's wanted me to get down there for a while, just haven't had the opportunity yet. He'd give us the ranch to ourselves.

 

Man plucking them sucks, we skin them, takes about 3 minutes per bird

It's a bit of a drive from Texas but I'd be up for pheasant hunting anywhere, hell I've never been that far north anyways.

There we go, actually I got a buddy that's a pilot, he usually will do shit like that for the cost of fuel, tell you what though, I can clear date next year for this for sure

Bring what you would normally bring to hunt pheasant, and plan for it to be fucking cold! As for the costs, you guess is as good as mine.

Shooting Hours: 30 minutes before sunrise to sunset.

Youth Pheasant Season - Legally licensed residents and nonresidents ages 15 and younger may hunt pheasants statewide on October 6-7, 2007. An adult of at least 18 years of age must accompany the youth pheasant hunter in the field. This adult may not carry a firearm and may not hunt any species of wildlife. Daily limit and hunting hours are the same as the regular season.

Delayed Opener - Opens October 20. Includes area in Williams and McKenzie counties starting where BN Railroad enters North Dakota, then east on the railroad tracks to the west boundary of the Trenton Wildlife Management Area (southwest of Trenton) then south and east on the boundary of the Trenton WMA to the Missouri River, then directly across the river, then west to the Yellowstone River, then south and west on the Yellowstone River to the Montana border, then north to the point of origin. In accordance with state law, nonresidents are not allowed to hunt on Game and Fish Department wildlife management areas or conservation PLOTS (Private Land Open To Sportsmen) areas from October 13-19, 2007.

 

I think we should limit it to a max of 6 people.

 

I'd say that's reasonable, and chances are it would be tough to find 6 people that could actually make it

Well i was more questioning are we sleeping in a barn or sleeping in a hotel each night. shared room or individual?

Also is there a hilton hotel around that area? cause if so i can get huge discounts off it. My good friend is a manager at the one in my area.

We will definately need to look into the laws, but 12 in possesion is not a whole lot at all.
