8:00am Doorbell, several times, knocking on the door.
For reference, I don't like being woken up suddenly, I have been known to hit back on autopilot.
(after all, i am Australian) I get to the window, open it and shout down "I'm coming right down".

Ok, i was naked at the time, so dressing gown on rushed down to the front door.

Leaflet through the door, "You were out", the fucker couldn't wait 2 minutes!!!

Maybe he just wanted topless me freezing my tits off out the window.
So festive detour to the postal dept after 3:30pm.

"Death of a Salesman" was brilliant, highly recommended.

 

Ugh, when that happens here, you have to wait until the next day.

I find that feature way to sentimental. But what makes it work for me is the score from John Williams. I have really learned to respect and enjoy his craftmanship more and more as i watch movies.

 

John "Johnny" Williams is amazing and while the ET/Elliott storyline is emotional, I think it's the music that gets to me most.

Listen to his new OST for "Star Wars, the Rise of Sky walker", I love it.

When it's a reworking, his theme for "Lost in Space" (S2 on Netflix tomorrow), still really works too.

Meanwhile

I'm not at my Aunts for Christmas (down among the sheep) and their WiFi is patchy (it's on the coast, next stop France) so I'll be a bit like Spock in the 1920's.

 

So did I. And this year I showed it to my kids and they cried to.
