I never do understand why people worth tens of millions do adverts. They clearly don't believe in the products shilled so are they just greedy or vain?

But aside, she looks awesome.

 

I think it's just a matter of 'more money is always better.' Rich people have wealth managers and agents to get them opportunities to expand their wealth, and doing commercials or adverts in asia always used to be the 'get money without potentially seeming like you're selling out' route.

Like you said, she looks amazing here, regardless.

 

This is how you get tens of millions of dollars. It also costs a lot of money to live the life of a celebrity. She had staff that she needs to pay and keep working. Also, these things often happen to make sure her face is out there when a movie isn't so she can keep getting her high price per film. If it wasn't the negotiations can go like "No one had talked about you for 6 months, you aren't hot anymore" or could be as simple as, "She wanted some rare item or impossible to get a bottle of wine, and the price was to shill someones cool jacket.

 

Most celebrities live in California. It's a very expensive state to live in. Most celebrities also live the high life. Expensive clothes. Expensive parties. Big houses. Constant travel. All that. To do all of that you need a constant stream of cash and you don't necessarily get it all just from doing movies. Hence the celebrity endorsements and product shilling.

 

Well, being worth 150 Million I'd be pretty sure she doesn't need muich for a staff. And considering I don't see her living like Puffy she probably has enough to live like an empress for a few lifetimes and she's completely in the limelight for the last seven or eight yearsso it must be something else.
Hell, maybe she genuinely loves soda stream, or maybe just loves money.

 

Guys, Scarlett is just doing a job, she doesn't have to believe in the shit she's advertising and honestly, who gives a fuck about the reasons why she picks one work or another? My

 

There are two things you don’t turn down in this world, and the other one is money. I have loved Scarlett since Lost in Trans and Ghost World. But she’s not curing cancer or educating the minds of tomorrow (she’d get paid much, much less). She gets paid by people much wealthier than her so people who work for a living, will part with their hard-earned money, in an attempt to look like her. Thereby making her pay-masters even wealthier. Capitalism.
Which is partly why (all due respect to Mike) I’ve never owned a pair of Jordans.
But I have dropped a penny or two on her movies.
