    Yea, we're setting up camp this weekend, then we actually start camping next wednesday after work:) my buddy and i are responsible for setting up camp for 11 people so it takes some time, we try to get a head start on it

    I bet it does. I know at Talladega the campgrounds are almost already full a week out. It amazes me just how many people camp out there.

    Yea, that's why we get out there early, we don't fill up as quickly as Talladega but this way we can get our pick of the campsites.

    Don't know how it is out there but at Talladega some of the sites are a looooong ass way from the track and some of them are only about 25 or 30 yards from I-20 - not where I would like to be. So yes, I'm sure that's a very good idea going early. Do they have pretty good security out there already?

    Yea, they start security out there on saturday and it's 24 hour security, the crowds out there are pretty good, i've never been worried about anything getting stolen, people camping around kind of know who should be in your campsite and keep an eye out for each other

    i got a nice Orvis 9 weight fly pole that is designed for saltwater, but there was an 8 weight freshwater reel for it. :(
