Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

I think it is becaus emy new connection is capped on both DL/UL, whilst my wireless one was only limited to the strength of the signal. In that sense, I was living up to my name's sake because I didn't have any lag whatsoever.

Also, I think the overall fast speed of my Opera browser helps the stream, and I tweaked my Firefox browser to perform at 15 times the speed. Though, it is still slower than Opera in some aspects.

    By tweaking you mean fasterfox?

I would never be able to use Opera btw, I'm an extension addict

    Dig this:

The usual high-quality movies that I find online are at least 700-900 MB in size. I can press the play button, and the buffering time is less than 10 seconds; thereafter, I can watch without interruption.

But, the same movies I can watch, I can also download and watch whenever I want, without having to worry if the movie will still be there next week. But, because of my caps, It might take a duration of 5 hours or more to download it i entirety.

Do you understand the difference now?

    What?

I mean widen the intake pipeline, manually.

Also, Opera is leagues beyond Firefox because it doesn't need superflous add-ons to run optimally. it already has everthing you could need in terms of security, options, service, accessibility, and cool tricks built in.

It even has content blockers, e-mail, voice, and torrents built into a smaller package than Firefox.

The only downside is it doesn't refresh automatically, so you might need to get accustomed to pressing F5 more than you are used to.

EDIT: I forgot; it does. you can set intervals for page refreshes to every 1-5 minutes.
