I would have. I thought she was hot she offered me a ride home one night after coaching my swim team i was the captain of for the 2nd year when she came on we flirted i knew what was going on, and carried on for 2 years after I graduated do you want to start a support group for me too? You are aware that the age of consent in most of America, as well as most of the western world is 16 right. So technically the majority of governments considered a 17 year old capable of making that decision. That's not even bringing up the fact he could of turned 18 in an hour and nobody would of said a thing or the fact that abuse of power goes out the window when you consider if she had ask him to murder someone and he did it he would still be charged with murder wether he claimed he was manipulated or not.

I don’t know where you live, but in the U.S. at the very least no one has the right to pull this “to young to make their own decision garbage” considering how many minors or charged as adult, given life sentences, and put on the sex offender registry, a registry supposedly there to protect them. Not to mention society does not hesitate to destroy them when they have done something society does not like.

As a general rule people much older than minors probably shouldn’t be messing around with them, but the moment the state of Massachusetts determined a 17 year old girl was capable of manipulating her adult boyfriend into killing himself and society did nothing but cheer that conviction, society lost the right to stand on that moral pedestal, especially when this is the same society that laughed and mocked a substitute teacher(someone with no authority of anyone) who claimed a 17 year old student(not even her student) manipulated her.

She was 23 when I was 17 the age of consent her in Alberta Canada where I've lived most of my life is 16, I was just enjoying the title of "victim" and the sheer irony that they were attempting to thrust upon me against my will lol! I guess "No means No" only works one way huh? As I said we carried on until I was 21 and she met another guy (Older before you start that shit!) And we went our separate ways, I still see her occasionally, my fiance and I even went over there for dinner a few times. Sure don't feel like a victim

 

Yah I use to feel differently, but I’ve gotten pretty tired of my government wasting time and money prosecuting victimless crimes and warping definitions of words to do so.
