Hey, if you ever get near Portugal / Morocco and Spain, I implore you to stop into every other snack bar to sample the diffrent national flavors of coffee. God, it is unlike anything you would ever believe.

I was not much into it back in the states, but in these months here, it has been a surreal experience. I knew from my studies that coffee is much a national pastime for these Latin cultures, but not anything like this. They sell them everywhere, from the squares by vendors with actual monkeys, to the stadiums, and even at 3 in the morning.

Morroco is by far the best since they have both the Portuguese influences tied within the French heritages.

Hey, check this page because i submitted a story last week here in adendum to this one I read.


Although this one gives agreat overview, I added a personal touch of my travails around the countryside and the various little shops I enjoyed spending time within.

 

Don't ever see myself venturing that far away from the states I'm closerfobic, couldn't stay on a plane for that long without being sedated. I do LOVE coffee though, I drink about 1 1/2 pots a day.

 

Have I alone been conversing with you? Tex must have fallen out somewhee.


Besides, how has your week been shaping up? You going to be taking vacation time anytime soon?

 

I need to be preparing to leave to visit a friend to review notes in a while, so my presence here may be intermittent.

 

haha, not sure where Tex wen't. I'm sure he'll be back soon, you know the both of us never venture to far from this thread.

So far things have gone well thank you. I have many projects going on here, all have been sucsessful but 1, still working on that.

Nah, no vacation here. My wife's as well as my family all live near by. Both our family's are very close, even my family is close to her family. We all get together for the holidays several times, no need to go anywhere.

 

Yes, I need to get busy myself. Even though I'm on here a lot I'm still productive at work, multi-tasking. Not today, I haven't done anything
