That's what I do as well, but...comments like this from a mod/senior member may help to discourage such crap in the future :idea:

 

riv my friend... once you make things personal, you're going to stress out A LOT. it's better to just ignore this stuff. i know it gets to you, but this isn't the mensa forum, after all. you know better than anybody that people are here for naked women, celeb gossip/bashing, and in less common cases, actual fun and chatting too. not everybody is as decent as you, riv. of course people say horrible things now and then, but what can you do? that's what makes nice/good people stand out.

everything is about opinion, whether it's about religion or miley cyrus pics or hoping for britney's demise. i have to admit i'm glad we're not a bunch of clones of each other. it makes things interesting.

i do completely agree people are out of control and/or sick sometimes, but you have to put that in perspective related to where we are on the internet. phun and its members together are a microcosm just like so many other things. there are super nice people like you and people on the complete other end of the spectrum. it's just how it is, no matter what. it's noble to let it get to you and post about it, and i really admire that, but i think you are setting yourself up for constant annoyance by such people by doing so. these are my honest thoughts. :2cent: take care.

There are so many hate sites out their doing lotterys on when a famous person will or will not commit suicide and all that. I find this site so refreshing because of what it is and the people that contribute - just like minded people who love women! and there is all shapes, colours (colors) and sizes (within reason!) on here!

I wouldn't be fully comfortable with the way some of the woman, particularly in the model's section are referred to as sluts and so on... Please don't say if you don't like it go somewhere else...just expressing

I did think that post was well OTT (it was about Britney, btw).

It seems to be a common trait in threads about Britney, Amy Winehouse and my once beloved Jenna Jameson.

The rather corny expression 'if you haven't got something nice to say, don't say anything at all' is rather apt here, i think.

 

I suppose I should throw in some comments here. Jennarous' final paragraph I totally agree with and if those haters stayed true to that, there wouldn't be a problem. We aren't going to ban people for making insensitive remarks towards celebs, if they were members it would be a different story. We can discourage it but that's about all. It's down to the individual, you can make comments to an extent but try not to cross that line, it's only going to lead to a flame-fest and that's where action can be taken. And do we really want to see people lose their phun status over someone like Britney?

Anyway, as you have your own opinion, mine is you take things way too seriously. This is a forum where the majority of the users come to look at naked chicks. Just because some random people say some shit you don't agree with shouldn't get you wishing for the glory days. I'm pretty sure you can ignore people as well through the control panel.

 

I doubt that the guy *literally* wishes that Britney were dead, or that people would take a crap on her still-twitching corpse.

I think he might just mean "I wish Britney would just fuck off", or probably more likely "I wish the tabloids and Access Hollywood would just fuck off and quit writing about Britney as if she mattered anymore."

I doubt anybody really wishes harm to come to her.


But I do know where River is coming from.

I think part of what makes Phun different from most porn forums is that it's basically a pretty good bunch of guys. I don't think we'd have so many female members if this wasn't a pretty good bunch of guys who love women.

Comments about wanting Britney to get run over by a bus kind of go against the whole "good bunch of guys who love women" idea.

We're all here, hopefully, to enjoy and appreciate the Art of women and men, etal, the beauty of form and photography and of course some good, hot porn. Clean fun/kinky at times - but for enjoyment sake.
If you need to bash...go somewhere else imo.
