    I think you're overreacting a bit here, MAD1SON wasn't criticising her achievements. This forum is about the celebrity photos and their looks. It seems quite fair to say, "for me, this celebrity is cute but not sexy", and not harsh at all. Why did this irritate you?

    What was my overeaction? Saying she’s a superstar and is massive news here in the UK. That’s just factual.

    The overreaction part for me was the "I’m sure your feedback on how she looks will really hit home." I do agree with you when someone says something along the lines of "this person is ugly", it's a pointless put-down and those people should just not comment or not open the threads. I don't think someone else has to post saying "sexy!" before someone can say "cutie but not hot". I think the root of it is that I don't think saying "cutie but not hot" is a put down though, it's still nuanced. It acknowledges the person is attractive, but we know that prettiness, cuteness and sex appeal are three different things.
