Not every image I post is a forum pick-me-up. Sometimes a lot of time goes into finding and posting these images, but people tend to ignore that fact by re-posting them without crediting their source. So I've decided to tag my photos and force those "Ctrl+C, Ctrl+P"ers to go find the material themselves (as you did).

 

Your argument holds no water...As much as you would like to believe your the source , even if you find them and post them here...That makes phun.org the source.

You know my site , You have emailed me to trade links. I don't even post it in my sig... You also know I tag all my photos because if you go to my site and take images THEN I'm the source.

So why do I post here things I find? Because I NEED to give back because I get a lot of content from phun like MANY other website... I can honestly say I give more than I take... How many of the thousands of other websites that come here can say the same?

PS. the one site I have in my sig is just for fun and I don't use phun's content...

I could care less what website the person sources as long as they are crediting someone. Its the EGOTASTICS of the net that repost content, refuse to credit any source, and crop out tags that anger me (I know your here, leaching right now).

I can HONESTLY say that I give more then I take from phun.org because I don't take anything from phun. I enjoy your site, its the culmination of every good post I see in each popular forum everyday but thats just what it is... A collection of the best day-to-day content posted by the top celebrity forums in the world. As far as exclusiveness goes you really don't have much. I love phun because I'm able to broadcast, not take, content.

For the most part my site contains posts and materials that weren't re-broadcasted across the internet every day. Much of the time we post the content first, then it is taken, de-tagged, and reposted. It tends to get quite frustrating dedicating so much time to finding exclusive content, only to have it taken and re-distributed.

Which is why we tag our images. We could throw a huge see-through "EGOTASTIC" logo across the center of every exclusive piece of material we post and remove the "source" link in our posts (which is where I'm assuming you found the untagged images and "the NY Daily news full story") to force people into citing our page. However, we settle for a small corner tag because we DO want to provide content, not SPAM our logo everywhere.

 

I just looked at your post history and EVERY one links back to your site , someway/ somehow ...even magazine scans posted by somonelse that you grab and put your logo on it...

Your wasting my time ...I 'm done with this thread... You just don't get it...

I'm sure they do. Which is why you'll find a "source" link to the original scanner, ripper, creator, or capper to most of the content on my site. It provides a bread crumb trail for people to use.

Also I'll be sure to include information about tagged images in the future.

 

I feel every post anyone posts should have some sort of link, someway/somehow, where a person can find more information about the media that is posted.

i.e. Your Topanga post was nice. When the pictures were leaked about a month ago onto the internet I enjoyed them but didn't think too much about it. However, when you added Danielle's personal comments on the pictures it made the post a lot more interesting.

For the most part on my site you can find a whole lot more information about every post I submit here. Including sources, release dates, etc. which is why I leave some what of a bread crumb trail in each post.. The tags, and link backs do not hinder a person from viewing the media I post, it just adds a door for people to get more information. Its the viewer's decision if they would like to click on a link and find out more about "Brittany Busting a Nut", or "Shannon Elizabeth's Maxim Spread".

I guess we just have different views on the subject...:2cent:
