    EDIT: For the pancakes/waffles/french toast question I'm wondering if maple syrup, honey, neither, or both is considered acceptable to you.
    EDIT 2: For the first question, is the generic term for sweet carbonated beverages including Dr Pepper, Ginger Ale, Coca Cola, etc "soda", "pop", "coke", "soft drink", or something else?
