Here's a joke that just completely fails written but can be hilarious in person. Tell it with at least 2 people who have never heard it before in the audience.


So John is travelling in the US for the first time, goes into a bar, and sits down. The guy he's next to says "You want to come back to my place and play a game?"

"Sure", John replies. So they get back to the guys house, and he says "lean over and pull your pants down!"

John thinks it's a little odd, but figures when in Rome... So the guy goes into the other room, grabs a cucumber, and shoves it up John's ass. "What's this?" John thinks for a minute, and says "Well, it's cold so it's from the fridge. It's got some bumps on it, but it's long and thin. I'm guessing a cucumber!"

"Good job!" The guy grabs a stick of butter and shoves it up John's butt. "What's this?"

"Well, it was cold, and it's slippery, but it melted quickly. Must be butter!"

"Well done!"

So the guy goes into the bathroom and grabs a...

[at this point, you struggle for the word while making an "unstopping the toilet with a plunger" motion. Somebody who's listening to the joke will say "a plunger", at which point you turn to them and say, "Oh, you've played this game before". If nobody says plunger, continue on and try again with a wrench. But I've _never_ had everyone fail to say plunger.]

That's a good one but as you said much better in person.

 

Kobe hit his shots at the end of the game. Celtics were 3 for 6 in the paint and 2 for 19 from the perimeter in the 4th.

Doc Rivers' fault for the Cs. If they don't take 19 freaking outside shots in the 4th, they have a much better chance of winning.

Kobe's boost for the Lakers. He had one of his "put the team on my shoulders" games offensively.

EDIT: And Pierce had one of his worst games of the season.
