    I'm watching Wanted and Desired now. It's the story of Roman Polanski's child sex/rape case. Very good documentary, I recommend it highly.

    This is a guy who's won the Academy Award since fleeing the country after (admittedly) having sex with a 13 year old girl.

    I think the doc's a little easy on him, but the interviews with the victim are incredibly powerful and it's worth watching.

    Tiger's putt on 18 was amazing.

    The fact that Mediate dropped so many easy putts and Tiger didn't capitalize was unfathomable.

    The only movie I ever saw the he directed was The Ninth Gate. It was pretty good but not great. Is it just about that case or all about his life?

    Westwood choked badly. After the first 2 holes where Tiger looked like he was in a ton of pain and didn't hit the ball good I thought he was done and there would be no way he'd finish as good as he did.

    It's mostly about that case, though it focuses on other influential parts of his life (e.g. his wife Sharon Tate being killed by Charles Manson's family).

    Polanski directed Chinatown, which is one of the great movies in the history of cinema. Rosemary's Baby was also quite good. The Pianist was pretty good too.

    I'm one of those dumb people who rarely watches any movie before 1990. It's weird cause I've seen a million movies own almost a thousand dvds and yet have not see Goodfellas or any of The Godfathers. I really have no reason that I haven't either I'm just weird like that.

    Well, Chinatown shouldn't be the first pre-1990 film you see. But it should be in the first 50 or so. It's one of Jack Nicholson's great roles (behind a couple more important to see films, for sure). In general, film gets better as the years go by. But seeing the really great earlier movies is definitely worth it.
