    Been here for almost 15 years now. My responsibilities have changed greatly over the years - i'm pretty much a supervisor now but without the pay - I could give a shit about the title, just want to be rewarded for the work I do. I guess that's why I get pissed about it.


    The Departed was an awsome flick. Anything with Jack in it is good though, this one was just especially good IMO.

    Makes sence - I just "in" the movie and don't even want anyone talking around me when i'm watching one.

    The guy's actually okay. The only reason i haven't is the situation here. We used to have a supervisor about 6 years ago that died of a sudden heart attack - some of the others that work here in the "non" techincal side (operator and sec's) have been here for almost 30 - he's talked to me about before and I think he's waiting on them to retire before he does anything.

    I've only had 2 my whole life outside of high school - what i'm doing now and electrician. I really enjoyed being a electrician but it just didn't pay enough.

    That's why I never pursued where all my qualifications are at. I get sick of just working on my pc and my home network let alone doing it for a big company.

    I finished school, worked at a supermarket chain in the deli for about 8 months and then went to where I am now, working as a croupier in a casino.

    Oh yeah I graduated school when I was 17. Applied for university but only did half the application form and didn't realize so just went straight onto working.

    Graduated when I was 17 as well. Went to a 2 year college - got an Associate Engineer degree - took 3 months to find a job and been doing this ever since. Started as a regular technician and moved to what I do now. I really still don't get bored with it, it's just that here lately i'm doing way more administrative work than technical work - to many projects going on at one time so it's easy to get stressed out quick. The projects are huge BTW - 1 is 2 million the other is 1.5 million and i've got several other existing system upgrades going on all at the same time.
