    sorry man, have never had elk or deer.

    caribou is very lean and very tasty! I've had people who have had deer and elk and they say caribou is 10 times better.

    Venison is kind of "gamey", for whatever that's worth, although when mixed with pork it makes killer brautwurst.

    Elk is very lean and tastes almost like good beef, but milder.
    I'll have to give it a try when i get a chance. I think there is an exotic meats market somewhere here in Vegas. I'll have to look into it.
