going from days to nights isn't to bad it's going from nights to days which knocks the shit out of me. All of a sudden going from going to bed at 8am to waking up at 8am.

 

I could imagine..Seems logical that you would have to lose a day of sleep in-between the weeks of changing.

I did hella good on Roulette last weekend BTW - for me anyway, I don't bet huge amounts. Usually $5 on the outline and $5 spread out on numbers in the middle. Ending up winning about $250 - gave it all back on the slots though.

 

hahah that's where they catch you. I've seen too many people win and then blow it all on another game or slut machines.

 

I can tell you now, there is no way to have the odd's in your favor for Roulette and Blackjack. All you can hope for is the dealer for Roulette likes you and is a bit nicer to you.

 

yeah, I know. We go about 1 time a month. Don't usually lose very much though - we sent a limit on it and stick to it. I like Roulette because you make your money last though, it's not as quick as craps or black-jack.

 

Hell, the odds aren't in your favor on anything in the casino. We don't try to get rich off of it, just enjoy the gaming experience.

 

The thing will Roulette is the dealer does have a bit of control over the ball. However the hazards do fuck it up. Pretty much all we can do is make it go from one side of the wheel to the other. I have a knack when dealing roulette to spin the same numbers.

With Roulette at the casino you go to, do they alternate the spinning direction of the wheel or is it always going to same way. I know at the Casino I work at it alternates between clockwise and anticlockwise with the ball going opposite direction of the wheel, it's meant to add a more random factor to it.

 

I'm old enough to know better than that. That's when it becomes a problem - got 3 kids to support, we can't afford to go over the deep end with it. But yeah, I see alot of folks that blow their checks in there - sad really.

 

I had a guy have a $450 bet on the number 20 the other day, he hit it and then I spun it again when he had a $500 chip on it. So close to $35k up. You think he would have let it ride again maybe hoping for a triple and if he didn't hit it cash in and leave. Nope he got greedy and pretty much lost all of it. Next five spins after that were about $3000 average bet and he lost on all of them.

 

Just goes one way all the time. The 3 number groups on the end pay 2-1, colors and odd/even pay 1-1, corners pay 8-1, halfs pay 16-1, and numbers pay 32-1. Not sure what the 0's pay, I've never bet them.

 

The worst part about it for me is, it's the same gamblers day in day out. They are only nice to you when there winning and if there losing your there worst enemy.

 

different odds, we got the colomns and the dozens which pay 2to1, even chances (red/black high/low odd/even) which pay 1to1 and sixlines 5to1, streets 11to1, corners 8to1, splits, 17to1 and straight ups 35to1.

Half of our tables are double zero but I'm 99% sure our layouts are different to yours.

 

There is in blackjack in some casinos, but they'll ban you for doing it.
