    Alot of companies are doing that to help employees save gas. The slightly longer days are worth the extra day off imo.
    We need a good downpour desperately, if only to wash all the dust out of the trees. When it gets really bad like it has been, it causes all kinds of resperatory problems for people. The dust is irritating my eyes like you wouldn't believe. After 8 hours, I'm ready to close my eyes for 4 - 5 hours, just to let them rest and rejuvinate. It's wicked. :(

    That happened to a friend of mine the other day. They were at their wits end when a friend stopped by and said, "oh, here's the problem," after about a minute of looking into it! :D

    I generally work 9 hours 4 days 4 hours on wednesdays, I play golf on wednesday afternoon with the guys at my club. The past few weeks with all the shit that's been going on I haven't been able to do that.

    Gas is one reason. Supposedly someone did a study on productivity comparing 5 8's to 4 10's and the 4 10's came way out way ahead. Because of coming in earlier or staying later employees were able to get more done because of less phone calls - I could see that helping myself a lot.

    Well.....sadly, (for our side) she's more comfortable with a "whisker biscuit" in her mouth as opposed to a "tool". :(
