Finally those two talking to each other in promo events.

 

People thinking there's some massive feud amongst the cast because of their less-than-enthused appearances at some events and interviews don't seem to remember just how much traveling they have had to do the last few weeks. I know they haven't been flying in coach or anything, but they have gone around the globe and answered the same questions several hundred times, it has to be utterly exhausting. Also, I learned how phobic of social media Emma is, I saw an interview where she talked about how she doesn't have TikTok, X, Facebook in part because she doesn't want to see what people are saying about her (not a trend necessarily, but I am starting to notice more female celebs not having a lot of social media accounts, Mikey Madison for example has NONE). Just saying, they don't hate each other just cause they aren't smiles and girl talk every second cameras are on them (that's not directed at the person above BTW, I've seen some ridiculous theories elsewhere that make it sound like they have to be kept apart lest blows are exchanged lol), there was one interview recently where they talked about literally hanging out in New Zealand cause they were both shooting things there at the same time.

I don't know where any rumors of EM and JO feuding could have come from. Various recent YT vids of interviews and fan autographings, part of Season 2 promotion, show them touching each other a lot, holding hands, etc. JO heaps praise on EM, saying that she loves her, and so on.
That footage reminded me of how Aubrey Plaza and Elizabeth Olsen were seen touching each other affectionately.

 

That does make more sense.

 

not to beat a dead horse... but whoever did that to jenna's eyebrows should be in prison for life!

 

They waited too long to do this season, but I've heard lengthy gaps between seasons is a trend now.

 

There have been pushed rumors that Jenna used her pull to reduce Emmas role in season 2, a follow-up to her own words about how she changed lines of her character in season 1. FWIW, it wasn't widely circulated at first and honestly felt like a way to both explain Emmas reduced role in the first part of this season as well as continue the narrative of 'Jenna is difficult' (because god forbid an actress not be a PC robot who doesn't speak her mind like Jenna always has, see her continued activism, which she has been long before Wednesday, in spite of obvious scare tactics)

 

It's not a trend. It's a problematic side effect of poorly managed production in the industry.

 

There were also a few strikes in between these seasons, I think they knew there would be some frustration with the long wait and number of episodes which is why they already announced ahead of time there would be a season 3, I wouldn't be surprised if they are already deep in the creative on it and would start shooting relatively soon to get it out in 2026.
