If you actually read PornKhaos farewell thread, I said I don't know if i belong here either. But... I put in enough work to keep it in consideration, and chat with regulars. But even that gets tiresome at times.

I spent about an hour or two editing a photo without any idea of what i was doing. I knew i wanted it to look like an album cover, but I had no idea what any of the buttons on the program did, or what that meant. paths, layering, brush... it is lost on me. I should get myself a manual on it. It is called GIMP

 

Hi Bama, sorry I've been Photoshopin stuff. Learning how to do cosmetics in Photoshop, becoming quite good at it!!! Used my gf as a test subject but she's not letting me put the pics up

 

My friend GIMP is also a very very very powerful image editing tool, just playing around with it is GOOD. But it's unlikely to get you very far, i can find you some general e-books on it for beginners if you like?

Also try checking out youtube you will find hundereds if not thousands of video tutorials on there. There is no lack of information pal, search for it you will laugh after you find out how easy it is to do things.

Yeah, that would help me immensely.

I am sure i can find the knowledge i need to learn as I go along, but i am unaware as to where to find the exact functions or tutorials I want to lean first. I also do not allocate my thoughts very well. So, I download GIMP... leave it alone for 3 months, then open it, close it... open it again, fiddle with buttons, and try to learn chinese by guessing as to what i need to convey.

I hadn't read it until just now. I read the first post and thought it was stupid - cry me a river - I need attention and knew how the rest would turn out. I don't think anyone "belongs" here. This is a place to blow off steam if you want, chat with others, view porn, view celebs, whatever...it has many different venues that anyone can find interest in. People take this to seriously, the name of the site is PHUN for christ sake. People should use it only for FUN and not something to boost their own personal morale. There is no competition here - everyone needs to realize that.

See, I thought in a manner similar to that. I conveyed it more ... delicately, since I got to know his online persona, but such threads do deserve to be locked upon creation. If you have made friends here, do them the honor of a pm explaining that you are leaving for personal reasons. If not, just leave without a word. That is the most honorable thing one can do both in virtual and real life.
