She went completely nude in this video too. She might have a modesty patch before the “tar” but she’s in that pit with no obvious panty line and you see the side of her hip. The BTS video I posted leads me to believe she went full body paint in this too.

And there was a publicity still where she was shot upside down (head to the camera, feet pointing away), and you could definitely see where her lips split, if I'm not just going insane.

Not quite sure what you're saying here. The lippy part is an optical illusion. The black thong doesn't end at the color change. The change is due to the see-through diaphanous skirt she's wearing having an opening in the middle, but otherwise mostly covers her legs. Where the skirt starts, it overlays the thong, changing its color. That thin bikini line is the seam of the thong, I should say the "thong". We can't see that it's a thong. We can see the same seam on the other side continuing down into the gray "lippy" area. Where it meets the other, blacker looking seam. That edge of the thong looks as black as it does, bc the lighting is coming from her left, casting a thin black shadow onto her right leg.

 

He was commenting on the mirror pic for which she is not wearing anything but maybe a thong and I don’t think so. At most I think she’s wearing a modesty patch because it’s obvious she’s not wearing a thong in other parts of the song.

 

OK. Not a thong there. Probably only paint. If a patch, all bets off. As for what we can see, yes, cb 2/3 of a vulva. Or splashes of paint. Indeterminate. How lucky are we? Flip a coin. No pun intended.

I was replying to Paperboy's reply to Thumbs who spoke of the thong in question. I was saying why that garment didn't leave a large patch of bare pussy sticking out. There's a black screen on the slant in two of the stills posted in this thread. It looks like we might be seeing Taylor thru a mirror. I agree, that's not so. I was trying to tell what's up with that thong, not paying any attention to whether the two pics might not be in a mirror. Anyway, the frontal view doesn't suggest the garment is a thong, & rear or under views are not included in our stills. So this was all a series of mistakes.

 

Thanks as always, spiderswims. That's helpful. Not to be too argumentative, but I did explicitly mention "of the stills posted in this thread" which ofc these adds were not in evidence at the time. My own idea of a thong requires a slender strap in the back going down between the cheeks, & that element remains absent from this new view. Honestly, I'm not into thongs at all, don't really care if that's what it is or simply underwear. For that matter, not into the body paint gimmick either. Or the stupid shaved mound don't count as pussy gimmick, you know, as long as labes are not unambiguously discernible. I've gotten kinda sick of merkin obsessions too.
