    No, that's not what the term "Jumping the Shark" means. It usually refers to an event in a show that is so catastrophically bad it can't ever recover. What Sallo is saying (and which I more or less agree with) is that each episode is nearly identical as the one's previous. No low points or high points, just kinda the same shit from one episode to the next. Kinda like the NCIS shows or FBI's or whatever. At least this show features gorgeous woman nude to scantily clad from time to time, which hefestus has done a great job cataloging as usual.

    Agree 100% every show he does is the exact same story just over and over, drama next episode little more drama etc. But I do like most of the shows he has done

    Yes but the suggestion is that the first season was so good that, to come from that to the second season where every episode's the same, suggests the show has jumped the shark. Not that I'd use 'Jumped the shark' personally, more like 'Sophomore slump'. But my point is that Sallo's point doesn't really contradict ornerytask's point.

    I don't even agree the first season was all that great to begin with. So for me, even saying "Sophomore Slump" makes the first season sound good. It's fine, and has remained the same level of fine in it's second season. It does feature Billy Bob Thornton and Sam Elliot classing up the joint, sometimes they even have good dialogue. But again, I'm mostly just watch for the beautiful woman Sheridan wrangles for all his shows.

    This right here, he has a true magic touch at getting actresses to ditch their clothes for the first time. IDK what cult leader qualities he has compared to all the other show runners out there that makes so many of the actresses on his shows comfortable at doing nudity lol (and a lot of them being ones that never had before), but Phun humanitarian award for him no doubt :D

    It's simply called being a good showrunner/writer/whatever. Actresses, ironically, tend to take their clothes off when they believe in the director or whatever, and feel they aren't being exploited. David Lynch would get his actresses to take their clothes off, because he was a talented artist and actresses killed to be in his movies.
