    CBC shows almost all Canadian content. They have a tendency to show more live events, rather than taped packages. U.S. coverage is big on the drama buildup before playing a taped event -- stories on the athletes' cats and 2nd cousins.

    most important, UNBIASED! even if Canadians are in it.

    and they are very knowledgeable, about all the athletes. not just "mr phelps 5th grade teacher once had 12 fish in the classroom and she remembers watching him stare at the aquarium many times after classroom and she always wondered why he had such a fascination with water. it now makes sense to her today."

    Rather than showing whatever "main event," the CBC will show a minor event if Canadians are participating. I believe there is a "Canadian Content" law that the CBC has to obey.
