@S-type I think you're in charge of banners, so...
I would be happy to look around PHUN and suggest recipients. Many would be categories that long-time members could achieve (such as Phun Kings) or something that could rotate (Phun Dream Team).
A lot more of the superlatives could go to all kinds of members.
However, if this is more/too much work for you, just shut it down now and we'll put it on a backburner for another day...

 

How about Most Offensive Member? I could be a contender for that

 

It seems as though there is a FINITE number of Phun members who are determining, coming up with, assigning, and generally dealing with Banners.
Probably 10% or fewer of those signed up to post. Seems like an exclusive club...which is fine...you guys run the show.
That's fine...I guess...BUT the BEST way to handle this would be
to come up with BANNERS that EVERY poster/commenter
could Qualify for...BASED on their posts or comments...
NOT JUST when they joined PHUN. Keep those though.
Funny poster
Clever poster
Insightful poster
LIKEable poster
Reference Maven...
The "inside" banners...Gayest..offensive...least offensive...aren't anything most members probably want.
Adjectives...based on posts...comments...With EVERYONE eligible, would be a good way to go. Or leave it as is.
Lastly, only POSITIVE banners...a reward...not a diss.

 

I believe the general idea was a (rather casual) effort to make Phun more... ahh, phun, and perhaps encourage some engagement, and not to try and make an exclusive club in the treehouse with a 'NO GIRLZ' sign on it

So fanciful and whimsical, rather than some form of elitism. We already have a star rating system for quantity of posts, the above gives perhaps a certain nod to the quality (or quirkiness, or perhaps uniqueness) of some of our members, also

Not all of us are around often enough to be on the radar screen so-to-speak, and that's ok. A few fun-n-flirty banners for some of the more standout members are fine in my book, as long as we feel we're not detracting from the board's original mission statement

Which is, above all, to have some phun! What we do here... it's Sirius business, after all
