    I didn't get to meet her. They were doing a scene in the casino and I saw them from a ways off. Everytime Hollywood comes to Vegas, more often than not they're just in the way of people going about their business. Productions take up an enormous amount of space.

    I was just sitting in the book watching a Sunday night NFL game and she and two friends sat in the booth next to mine, drinking 32 ounce daquiris. I nearly shit. :D

    I still can't used to folks from the US using weights to describe liquid amounts. I use both Imperial and Metric (most UK people do) but it's alien over here to describe a drink by ounces or gallons so i have little idea what size they are. Last night i was watching How i met your mother and someone mentioned a pint of ice cream which was the opposite!!! we use pint for beer and thats it. all our liquids are in metric and our solid foods in imperial. brussels is slowly trying to change it but i'll be damned the day i buy a kilo of meat!!!! DAMNED I TELLS YA!

    Back in the 1970's there was a big push to adopt the metric system in this country, but it never really took hold, and the government didn't want to force it on the people like the British and other European governments did.
