I beat his ass badly. He was bashing the idea of being a parent, and was talking shit about another one of my friends.

He was criticizing another one of my friends for bringing too many kids into the world. He said that he was bringing them into a bad life.....which was bullshit. I told the motherfucker to stop while he was still ahead, but he didnt.
I gave him a black eye and a fat lip.

 

I was infuriated.

 

Okay. You made two points of contention.

1) You assaulted your apparent friend for having a divergent opinion from your own, so you decided to teach him that his viewpoint was wrong.

2) You mentioned and vaguealy inferred that Tiger Woods would not be playing in the Open, perhaps due to the injury to his leg.

Now, my response was an encompassment of the two; I asked whether or not you could mend the friendship, as well as offering the query if Tiger could perhaps heal in time for the tournament. This was afforded in the above quote issued by myself. I don't see why you need specifics if the two responses you stated are right above my post. This conversation does not have too many participants, so I did not think you would need me to quote your posts.

But, again, what do you think of the outcome of last night, as well as the outlook for the Open?

 

And then the dumbfucker calls me this morning and said he was sorry.

I really havent taken much interest in golf since tiger is not going to be playing.

Right. toolz, you need to realize that people are meant to have different ways of seeing the world, different opinionns that guide their overall decisions and actions.

So your friend was criticizing another of your friend's; was the contention of a poor living environment entirely dumbfounded? Did he deserve a stomping for expressing his thoughts to you? Well, I know not the details, so whether you're in the right or wrong doesn't rightly matter at this point. What can be gained now is the insight after the debacle. Perhaps that "friend" will learn not to mouth off on one of his own but instead offer a reasonable argument that a child should be a major comtemplatitive and thought-out decision, and maybe you can try to compose yourself in the face of overwhelming odds to restrain your contempt.
