Edit: Oh it's ok, i Googled the name and the first results were about a 80 year old guy. I had to add "Capstone" to see the right person.

 

Guy is even a bit younger than her ex-husband, despite not looking like it, lol.

 

Seems a bit soon for her to be moving on, especially with a two-year old in tow

 

To be fair, the moment you get divorced isn't the moment the relationship actually ended. Plus, you seem to be a big fan of Sydney Sweeney, and she broke up with her fiance whom she was with for 8 years only to then get with Scooter Braun 2 months later at Jeff Bezos's wedding. Yes, Sydney doesn't have a kid yet, but she was in a very long-term relationship that had literally just ended, and she (and it seems you) had no problem with her moving on right away

It's fine to be the guy who tries to "keep it real," but that approach should extend to your favorite, as well.

 

This is true, but, my thing is that I personally, if my marriage had failed and I had a young son, wouldn't even be thinking about a new relationship. Me personally, I'd be concentrating on raising my son and put off dating again for a few years.

Apples and oranges. Sydney is much younger, didn't have any children with the restaurateur and decided she didn't want to commit to him. Perfectly natural for her to want to go out and find someone she does want to commit to, or indeed deciding that she's perfectly fine with just being unmarried and seeing what's out there. Her long-term relationship failing isn't the same as a marriage failing

I'm still opposed to her relationship with Scooter. But that's because he's a grown ass man who calls himself 'Scooter'

 

We only know what both Alex and Sydney are choosing to show the public, not even a fraction of what's going on in their actual private lives, or the actual reasons behind any decision either makes. Can't we just go back to admiring Alex's beauty and being grateful that she's finally showing up in photos again?

 

But speculation on celebrities' private lives is part of the fun for me....

 

It could be possible that it’s a temporary thing, particularly in context of his finance background. It’s actually not uncommon for people who separate from their spouse to have a temporary fling with someone else while going through the divorce process. I don’t know whether her divorce is finalized yet.

Not to mention, we’ve been starting to see an uptick in workload since she separated, including a producer credit which we weren’t seeing while she was married.

 

I mean, Sydney’s going on 30 years old. That’s not nearly young enough for those justifications to mitigate the fact that she had been in an almost decade-long committed relationship with a regular guy who owned a pizza place and then 2 months later started dating a billionaire she met at another billionaire’s wedding. Which she attended because she originally wanted the latter to help fund her lingerie line, before she linked up with the former while there and had him help instead. I’m not trying to start an argument over this, so much as saying that you're coming into threads to “keep it real” but then going out of your way to do the opposite in defense of Sydney.

Well yeah, people go on the rebound. But, in my opinion, it's never wise

 

There's a lot of different theories that I've seen circulating around about why Sydney's longterm relationship ended, but it's not for this thread.

 

I'm not saying it's wise, either, but his finance background might be why.
