great observation... she rarely ever allowed herself to be photographed with the other dude and when she did there was never PDA... but with scooter she doesn't mind being photographed and there's been PDA... seems like love... whether with him or his money, but some form of actual love

 

What does she need with his money? She's perfectly rich on her own. She's probably wealthy enough that she'd have a hard time spending it all in this lifetime

By recent estimates she's worth about $40 million. He's worth around $1 billion.

To us/most it seems similar and we don't understand how someone worth millions can care about someone for their "more" millions but it does. In ways we can't really imagine.

Sydney has 1-2 mansions. Scooter has more mansions, a private jet and a yacht... for instance.

He's also more connected to other super wealthy people in that billionaires club. She started SYRN via his connections, not on her own and with her own money (or at least not fully with her own money).

 

Yes but my point is that she has no need to be with him for his money. She's a successful, independently wealthy woman in her own right. His money is probably nice to have. It probably opens doors for her, like you suggested. It definitely put him in the conversation with her, I doubt he would have attracted her attention if he worked an office job for a modest salary. But she doesn't need his money for her lifestyle. Mansions, private planes, private yachts, speedboats, these are all part of her reality independent of him anyway.

The kinds of women who would marry Scooter for his money, they tend to be yoga instructors or cocktail waitresses or starving artists. You know, young attractive women who are possessed of little means. Not smart, successful, capable businesswomen like Sydney. Sydney, if she married him, could afford to divorce him and walk away with nothing.

I dunno. I think she might actually...like him? She seems a lot happier with him than she did with her ex

 

I didn't mean to imply she doesn't actually like/love him... it was kind of a sarcastic comment but I am sure his money certainly helps matters. As you said, his money got him a seat at the table. Got him sex at Bezos' wedding when they first hooked up... no doubt about that. If he didn't have the money she doesn't bang him in the first place.

 

People date, marry and even have children with people they don't really like or love all the time. Not unusual.

I guess I just resent the implication that Goddess Sydney only loves him for his money. She has money
