Sundays. Saturdays are football day. My son's first game is tomorrow. It's a jamboree game actually, the real season starts next Saturday.

So 'jamboree' is similar in meaning to 'preseason' in PeeWee?

 

History is both fascinating and irritating, depending on how it's presented, and which historian is presenting it.

 

My hall bath. Been putting it off for weeks. We're having a birthday party for my little girl at the house Sunday evening so the wife got on my ass about it. It's not that big - just haven't finished it yet. She wanted me to sponge paint it - that shit takes more time that spraying it

Really??? I would think the scenery would be of no comparison.

It's pretty much a "glorified scrimmage" game. They only play 2 quarters instead of 4 and all teams in his league participate. They do a blind hat draw a few weeks prior to see which team plays which. Waste of time really because no one shows their true talent just like preseason pro games but the younger smaller kids get lots of playing time so that's good.

 

I can never tell if you are taking a dig at me or a fellow poster in your sometimes oblique-like posts. I admire it in a sense, though when I can construe it as pertaining to me, it leaves me abit abashed. :|

 

I rarely take digs at people, and have never done so to you. But if I ever do, there will be know doubt in your mind, because I respect you enough to make it obvious. I only use oblique digs on people who aren't very quick on the uptake. Even if they don't get it, it still amuses me.
