    I prefer PBS the most, though it hard to find the standalone best station and programming of them all; I'd have to say WETA sets the bar pretty hard though.

    History channel is always something one can watch;
    ESPN, though, not so much... I like its counterpart ESPN2 much more.

    NPR radio is also good, EZ ROCK 97.3 FM, and WJFK are among the most popular in my mind.

    I broke the 1 or 2 rule, didn't I?

    Radio station is easy: National Public Radio

    I tend to like the crime procedurals on CBS (Numb3rs, CSI:, etc.) ... But NBC does have Two-And-A-Half Men...

    I have gotten into watching House recently, but my only gripe with the show that is really overt is the fact that I liken it to Scooby-Doo; they are given a situation in which there is a villian(illness), they commence in a runaround, there is some song cues, and in the end, the mystery is solved in the most inconceivable manner imaginable, and we are forced to accept this is how diagnosticians(high teenagers with talking dogs) really operate.

    Besides that, I am growing fond of it.

    I like NBC more than CBS... I consider CBS a national sydincation more gered to the "old folks" market... but I believe 2 1/2 men is also on CBS... never watched it, though.

    The thing about it is the actual case usually takes a back seat to how he treats everyone around him, so the cases are usually pretty far out there, its more the dialogue that i like

    House entertains me ... House is a hoot. I haven't watched in a while.

    I still like Law & Order reruns. Never really watched it in prime time.

    24 was appointment TV for me ... I expect it will be again when it starts up.

    CBS always was geared to an older market (which means 25-49 instead of 21-49 lol). I like crime procedurals 'cause when I was a little kid I wanted to be an FBI agent, so I read a lot of good guy/bad guy books. The good guy/bad guy thing has never left me.

    My favorite crime movie is still "Manhunter." which came before Silence of the Lambs. Brian Cox IS Hannibal in my book.

    Up top, Discovery channel's FitTv program, Shimmy, a belly-dancing tutorial show... her name's Gillian, and she's stacked. :mrgreen:

    Of the 7 dancers featured, I find 4 of them smoking, 2 alright, and one I wouldn't go for at all. They also have very unique backgrounds when they dance... very awe-inspiring.
