it is the biggest particle collider in the world, they shoot 2 beams of matter at eachother just short of the speed of light around a 16km track. (i think it's 16km)
they're trying to create the split second after the big bang.
i can go into more detail later but google it and one of the first few articles is a short read about it. there is so much that could go wrong. but it could be fine. i'll post a link to another forum i was chatting about it on.
