A third party logistics. Instead of the company shipping out their own product, they hire a company to do that for them.

This is the first long weekend I have had in awhile. The last time I had a holiday we ended up working long hours on a Saturday so it was just like having the weekend off since it ended up being just two days. Doing the overtime during the week doesn't work for me. I already worked 50.5 hours this week and my manager still wanted me to go in on Saturday.

You're telling me. I missed about 4 months at the beginning of the year from phun because at that time I was working 60+ hours.

No, most of the time I am supervising the material handler on the floor but since my manager lives in Sacramento, he took off for the long weekend since Thursday and then sent an email on Friday for the Saturday schedule . That is the reason the emails were going back and forth.

Oh ok, do you enjoy it? You changed it on me

No, it does make up for the time because it was just sleep and work. Also, uncle Sam takes a lot away for taxes especially when you work overtime so you don't get that much money either :(

oh yeah, I wasn't happy especially because the night before we were going over the game plan for the weekend and at no point did he tell me that I was going to have to work. Also, I was already pissed off because you go through an agency before you get hired and today I got the email from the HR of my new pay rate and I was not happy so the next email was for working on Saturday and that really pissed me off

What places overseas do you get to travel to?

Yes it does, then the place where you work makes it seem like you are making a lot of money but in reality you are not

So the people that get to go overseas, are they sales team or who gets to go overseas? Western Australia an eyeopener, eh...where are the pics? :p It is weird but my manager takes a flight to Sacramento every weekend. Takes off on Friday and comes back on Monday morning.

 I guess all companies are the same.
