Now they say Hannah may hit the east coast and they talk like it may be a rough one. Talk like her in Virginia alone we may get up to 12 inches of rain

 

Makes me glad I live in the desert.

 

I bet. We normally don't get to harsh of weather, occasional bad thunderstorms, but nothing too major

 

Indeed, I actually sleep great during t-storms as long as it's not that splitting loud crashing (when you can tell lightening struck something)

 

Oh btw, toolz sig that looks great. I'm not to good with brushes, but I can cut-n-paste pretty well (had alot of practice ) One of my first CA fakes...

We're in the middle of our monsoon season right now. It doesn't rain much over the Las Vegas valley, but the surrounding mountains get quite a bit. At night you can see the t-storms over Lake Mead/northwest Arizona. Pretty cool. Lots of sheet lightning and the low rumble of thunder in the distance.

Evening. One of the few good things about living in Cleveland is the weather is never too severe. Sure the winters could suck, we are 2nd poorest big city in the country, and the economy here is shit, but no hurricanes.

Ahhh... I thought they looked a little familiar.

 

Indeed, here in Virginia I swear we've gone to only having two seasons. Never to cold like it's fall from Oct. to April then gets hot as hell from June to Sept.

 

Mostly south or east where the land is flat. The metro area has enough changes in elevation, so I don't really have to worry about tornado's.

 

I take it they fixed that pesky little problem of the river starting on fire?

 

Where I live, I'm surrounded by trees, except there is a field with a mobile home right across the road from me (which worries me a helluva lot)
