Dude, I'm an old carpenter. I dig remodels.

I thought I saw you posting Saturday morning. Or was that Sunday? At any rate, a long weekend is never enough of a visit where old friends are concerned... However, it's cool that your planning the Thanksgiving visit! One last blst of summerish weather before you have to dig in up north. Me? i don't have to worry about that shit!

The house is nice inuk, but had an old couple living in it for aaagggesss. So we have had to re-decorate it all. Lovely little place in a nice quiet area. Good for the kid to grow up in. However the gentleman that lived there MUST have been in the army. Because in one room of the house on the wall he had a collection of weapons ranging from Machetes to Italian Daggers!!!! The weapons were not there anymore, however the sunlight had shined on them for so long it had left imprints on the wooden wall. I will post a couple of pics later on. (Could only take two pics on shitty phone at the time) It's a really weird feeling staring at a wall where a massive stash of weapons was!

Yeah...it was Sunday man. I still had a house full on Saturday, and their "deadbeat" asses didn't leave until about 2PM.

It's always strange moving into someone else's digs after they've been there for a long time. Lots of ghosts of memories to contend with.

I talk to her everyday on the phone. She's a happy little camper now that she has little cousins her own age to play with every day. That was a big reason I had for letting her go. When she's happy, I'm happy.

hey I'm used to it already, lived most of my life up here. in British Columbia when I was in college I used my leather jacket in the winter there, I was fine. everyone thought we were nuts!

Dude...I've lived here full time since I was ten, and in the summers since I was two. I never get used to it. Myself, and my bros work all winter so we can spend the scratch on the boats/bikes/and other toys that we get to use three months out of the year. Pretty damn pathetic, and we all need to move.

 

LOL damn Salty, our summer up here is a month and a half if that.
