    I got off early. Threw the truck tonight in heat and humidity. Soaked my clothes through in the first hour-and-a-half of the night. I took it easy for the rest of the night, dealt with some on-the-job politics, and came home.

    We got about 2 inches of rain before I left for work. My car was in a 4-inch pond when I got to it, and I had to drive it through two 8-inch ponded areas on the apartment entry road to get out on the street. Man, we were down 4 inches in rain for the summer and we've made it up in 2 days!
