    You're right about natural sports enemies, though. Rivalries that go back to Medieval times, for sure. The rivalry thing changed when the sports organizer-geniuses started putting Detroit in "Central" or "Western" divisions. The most ridiculous is hockey. Check out the NHL's Western Conference teams at espn.com. They must've bee really drunk when they made that.

    That's not technically fair because they are supposed to be home games for the Astros so they have to play them at a neutral field.
