Ah okay, I'm not really into bitter, even if you drown it in something sweet. I'm pretty much open to the taste of everything but bitter has never been a preference for me, that's why I don't drink coffee.

 

Let's keep drinking some Napa Valley wines then.

 

When I was 14 I was at a buddy's house. His mom offered us coffee. She put a ton of sugar in it after I told her I'd never had coffee before. From that day on I was addicted, and I still use tons of sugar. LOL

 

Haha....when we give mate to the tourists to taste it, 2 things happens: or do not like at all or love it and asks more. It is as addictive as coffee.

I tried my dad's coffee when I was 9 or so. He uses cream and sugar but it still didn't appeal to me. I believe, with the exception of an esspresso once, that was the only time I took an interest in coffee. I love the smell of freshly ground coffee beans though. Just wonderful.

Love black coffe...but no more than mate. The only way I drink coffe is making it irish.

When I camped on Isle Royale we fished for pike in one of the inland lakes. That's where I saw my first moose, up close and personal. It was a mother, standing only 50 feet from us, making sure her calfs were safe.

 

Isle Royale is in Lake Superior, btw.
