    It's hurricane season here where we pump a shitload of crude oil. Gas prices have sky rocketed because of the fear of the unknown. Each time a hurricane comes near the gulf coast they estimate the path and close down all the refineries anywhere around it - hence stopping the pumping production. The effect is everyone running to the gas stations and filling up their cars plus whatever jugs they have...and the gas stations raise the prices to about whatever they want...and get away with it. Supply and demand.

    Well the barrel price isnt exactly supply and demand....The price at the gas station is affect by hurricanes but the production isnt as the refinery has already bought the oil months ago....so you see all this about hurricanes affecting the price are BS....

    There for it`s a little bit crazy that the gas has gone down with about Sek 1:- /liter the last week. 1 US-Dollar = ca. 6,50 Sek
